bbeltmom Posted January 5 #1 Share Posted January 5 Hi Everyone. We are looking at booking an Owners Suite with the connecting 2D balcony for a cruise with our daughter and SIL and their 1 year old daughter. Can anyone who has sailed in an Owners Suite with the connecting cabin tell me how the connecting works? I am more familiar with how the connecting works on the Celebrity ships. Did you find that the bedroom afforded enough privacy with just a curtain? Thanks for your advice. Susan Wookey
Ashland Posted January 5 #2 Share Posted January 5 The inside connecting door will be just like in a hotel and you can also have your cabin steward open the balcony divider to have a larger balcony. Their will be a curtain in the OS to separate from the living/sleeping space. It's a heavy curtain but not sure how much privacy you need. We sail in OS's and so pretty familiar with them fleetwide.
Cigar King Posted January 6 #3 Share Posted January 6 FWIW, our preference has been to NOT use the connecting door, and instead rely on the balcony divider being opened. I feel it gives a bit more privacy.
