SuiteCruisin14 Posted January 14 #1 Share Posted January 14 We want to rent a car in Seattle at the cruise terminal. Appreciate any info on what companies are available?
Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted January 14 #2 Share Posted January 14 (edited) There have not been any car rental options available at either Pier 66 or Pier 91. You would have to use the rental facility at SeaTac Airport, or a satellite location in DT Seattle. Pre-pandemic there was a shuttle van that would transport disembarking passengers from Pier 91 to the DT car rental facility, but that service did not return post-pandemic. Rare CCWineLover Posted January 14 #3 Share Posted January 14 Since there are different cruise piers in Seattle, you first need to know where you will be. Once you know that, you can do a Google Search of that address and find any nearby car rental locations. Easy peasy. Hopefully you are at Pier 66. It is closer to downtown car rental locations. You can do a search on what is close and you'll likely have to take a Uber or Lyft to get there as it will a ways away. Took me 15 seconds to do this search: Pier 66: Pier
Meander Ingwa Posted January 15 #4 Share Posted January 15 Be aware that these contract rental agents may not be open on weekends. You can use the listings on Google Maps to see the agents hours. It may be more practical to take a transfer to SeaTac and rent from the large corporation rental center. That will also likely reduce your rate. Be aware that parking in Seattle core is VERY expensive
