We were on the Beyond in November and your comment regarding Disembarkation is spot on. Very annoying. We are on the Ascent in a couple of weeks and I am hoping the outside space in and around the sunset bar is a little quieter than what you described. We were on Beyond in December and found disembarkation to be absolutely crazy too, but we finally were able to use the stairs and expedite our situation. Yes, the ship felt crowded at times and others did cut the line; we were actually in the Retreat line to disembark early, but that was a joke. We would have been better off doing it by ourselves, but one of the suite concierge’s insisted that we join their group. Just a bad decision from doing it ourselves. We had never seen anything like it before and are done with the Caribbean...one and done, after not cruising there for decades. Thank you for sharing, as I thought maybe it was just our particular cruise. Edited January 16 by Lastdance

This is one of my real issues with Edge-class ships.

The only quiet space I found on Beyond was outside of Eden where there are seats for the Eden cafe which isn't usually open anyway (off hours for eating, on other words). Off to the side on deck, nice chairs, and no music--opposite side from the smoking area on the other side of the ship. Fmitchy Posted January 23 #29 Share Posted January 23 We just got off the January 7 sailing and Loved the ship overall. So much that we booked next January on the Beyond 11 Day Panama / ABC islands. Future cruises does a nice Job. We had a 11th Floor SV Veranda Cabin, the 11th floor was nice. We do agree with the above post about the main dining room menus not switching it up. Yes the TP was not Charmin but worked. The public spaces were Gorgeous and the over all layout of the Ship was functional. Just keep in mind the front of the Ship is the Big Money Hangouts. The Pool area was relaxing and had good daily entertainment. Also different then the Solstice class way more lounge chairs and sitting chairs all over deck 14, and 15. Never had a problem finding a spot that we liked. The Casino had a bad vibe, only one $15 BlackJack table always full. While the $300 and $100 table was always empty. Couple of $25 tables. I found it not welcoming. The Theater was super Hi Tech and well laid out. Only thing was the first 3 nights had the same dancers. Better shows at the end of the cruise. Have to say , we know prefer Edge Class ships. Loved it.

I’m sorry to hear about the casino table games. Did you play the slots? Anyone having any luck?
Fmitchy Posted January 23 #31 Share Posted January 23 We had cabin 11297 SV and we loved it.people are nuts saying they creek, not true. The cabin was one of the nicest we ever had. There were 2 nice sitting chairs with a small table. Honestly everyone stands on the Balcony when leaving or entering a port. You will love your location. Will certainly mention the volume of the music in my Celebrity survey! Maybe it was just me - I was shocked at how packed the pool area was as I found the volume particularly bothersome in that area (not saying music isn't appropriate in that space as it should have a party atmosphere but for me the volume was uncomfortable). Apparently though hundreds of people disagreed! I definitely agree. It would be nice if they were quieter areas but this is a great reminder that noise canceling headphones are awesome and I will definitely pack them for my upcoming trip on beyond so thanks for posting this point.
