RM Posted January 30 #1 Share Posted January 30 I walk with a cane, so I would like a wheelchair when I embark the ship at Port Canaveral. Do I need to notify NCL before we arrive or can that be arranged when we get to the port? Who do I see about that?
valleyvillage Posted January 30 #2 Share Posted January 30 Arrange this before your cruise. Contact https://www.ncl.com/about/accessible-cruising
PegNRay Posted January 30 #3 Share Posted January 30 The wheelchair assistance at Port Canaveral is excellent. For disembarking we had to check with guest services as to where to meet the morning of the last day. People were escorted out based on the color of their luggage tags. If you are gold or higher ask for yellow luggage tags at guest services.
Ellis1138 Posted January 30 #4 Share Posted January 30 In my experience, yes, you need to fill out the NCL Access Desk Form. Ideally a few months before your sailing. If not, call the number for the Dedicated Access Coordinators. If you don't pre-arrange anything, you run the risk of it not being available for you.
