NCL flights and confirmation doc lists wrong city name

 Share

Recommended Posts

I paid off my upcoming cruise today and noticed on the invoice/confirmation PDF document that the return air city looks glitched. The disembark port is Tromso, Norway and we are using NCL BOGO flights.

The city name incorrectly lists Amsterdam but with the correct airport code.

Example would be "Amsterdam, CO (DEN)" when it should say "Denver, CO (DEN)".

It was correct on earlier confirmation docs.

I called CAS and the rep said it looked fine in their system, but they could see the mistake on the generated doc when they sent it to themself.

They called the air department and was told it can't be fixed and it would be resolved when the ticket was booked.

Anyone ever had this happen?

If you booked directly with NCL, try to get this fixed NOW before they book your airline reservations. Call NCL's Air Department at 866-625-1163.

If you booked with a travel agent or on-line cruise agency, you'll need to call them.

Have you had this happen before?

It is sort of with NCL, the Casino at Sea department.

They claim that the air department already told them that there is nothing to be done.

I'll try calling the air department directly and see if they say the same thing.

Yes, but not the same issue you had. But last January I had flights booked by NCL Air where the first flight on Delta did not show up on Delta's website or in their computer. I called NCL Air several times and they promised everything would be ok. On the morning of the flight, still no Delta flight and NCL Air finally took me seriously. After they talked to Delta and confirmed no reservation, NCL Air rebooked me THAT DAY on American.

So if NCL Air blows you off with your concerns, make sure they document your call to them in their Notes. Then when you finally get your Air confirmation, if it's wrong, there will be a record of you informing them of their error. Hopefully it will be right though.

Are you talking about when you view your account on their website, or on your actual PDF confirmation page?

Our upcoming trip doesn't include air so I can't pull up something from my online account to show you, but in the past that has notoriously been grossly incorrect. It would suggest that we had flights already picked and ticketed with layovers to go from NY to Miami (not sure where the layover would stop between here and there), but have every time gotten direct flights. The PDF always lists the correct arrival and departure airports though, even when the website was completely wrong.

The wrong city name is on the PDF guest confirmation document. It does list the correct airport code though.
