Disembark early at non-final port, FP?

I’m looking at a 14 day Tahiti/Tuamotus/Marquesas cruise. Is it possible to disembark in Bora Bora instead of finishing last couple days of cruise (would normally end in Papeete)?  Understand we’d miss Moorea.

I had asked Windstar a while ago if that was possible and told it was not allowed in French Polynesia. Don’t know if that was a Covid thing or whether the policy has changed. Call Windstar for current policy
