Looking at booking guaranteed A1 cabin on Riviera. Can anyone tell me if there are negatives to rooms on Deck 11, which appear to all be located below the pool deck. Specifically, do you hear noise from chairs being moved across the pool deck when crew is cleaning?

Depends on whether or not you like a sunny balcony. There is a large overhang from above.

We’ve not been on deck 11 on the Riviera but have been on deck 8 below pool deck on the R ships. We have always been under the patio and not experienced any noise. Somebody else will probably have experience of being under the pool or restaurants.

Hopefully other people will add their experiences!

PS thinking about it there are so few A1s on deck 11 you might not get one anyway! We do deck10 A1 normally.Never had a noise problem.

I think the cabins on deck 10 are all booked

All the concierge cabins are the same size. The only difference between an A1 and A4 is price, not a huge difference, and position. Lots of people prefer concierge on deck 9 because it’s the same deck as the concierge lounge. Choices, choices!
