Bus stop near cruise port for Mullet Bay Beach

We want to take the public bus from close to cruise port to Mullet Bay beach. What is the bus fare and can we pay US $$?    We want to walk from Mullet Bay to Maho Beach and take the bus back. Has anyone done this lately?

There's a bus station, EmmaPlien, on Back Street, about a 10 minute walk from the cruise port.

Any one at teh shops along the way can point it out to you. All the buses (which are small green vans) stop there.  The Mullet Bay to Phillipsburg route is a popular one. Buses have their destinations  listed on a sign in the front window.  Cost should be around US$ 3 per person each way. Just tell the driver where you want to go.

They run on a infrequent schedule but do run both ways.  Just go to where the driver let you off and flag one down for the return.  But do give yourself plenty of time
