DanSgt Posted March 1 #1 Share Posted March 1 On the Viva right now and tomorrow night is the last night. Thought I read somewhere that casino host can trade in points for certificates similar to cruisenext. I just not sure the right verbiage to search or ask for. Help is always appreciated. UKstages Posted March 2 #2 Share Posted March 2 it's called "CASNEXT," which is short for "casino next." valid on cruises of 3 days or longer. certificates are non refundable and non transferable. a $250 certificate serves as full deposit on categories up to and including club balcony or can be applied as partial payment for higher categories. not combinable with cruise first certificates. can be doubled up, if you have two certificates and if a double up promo is in effect. it's unclear if you can combine with a cruise next certificate, if a double up promo is in effect. (but most CAS guests don't have cruise next certificates.) it's 10K points for a $250 certificate, if memory serves. see a host on the last night if you wish to convert points to a certificate. DanSgt Posted March 2 Author #3 Share Posted March 2 Thank you so much. I will talk to the host about it. It helps that I now have a working idea of what to ask for.

Yes, it's 5000 tier points for $250 CASNext and 10,000 tier points for $500 CASNext. I've used several now. Make sure you haven't played your points for freeplay. Just let the hosts know you want to 'purchase' a certificate and what denomination. They will print out and sign a certificate for you. It can take a few days or a week or so for the CASNext certificate to be visible to the CAS agents for booking your next cruise. If you have an odd amount of tier points left they can carryover to your next cruise and be used on that one to purchase the certificate. Just remember you have to book AND cruise within one year of 'purchasing' the certificates.

It seems as though you should, but the Casino Host I asked was less familiar with the program than I was (they can't know everything) and the CN desk said NO, but also seemed a little unsure... I haven't bothered reaching out to Miami yet to try and get a definitive answer.

However, the actual CASNext certificate I received came with Terms & Conditions that said that it couldn't be used with CNext or CFirst certificates.
