Zaandam Help

Any one back from a current Zaandam cruise? How was it? Please let me know the good, bad and whatever. We go May 1st on a little 3 day. We did this on the Statendam 3 years ago and had a very relaxing time. Thanks

We just returned home from the 3/5 sailing. It was wonderful -- great food, great service, good weather. We ate at the Pinnacle Grill on the last night -- it was so good that we probably would have gone more than once if we'd eaten there earlier in the cruise. Our favorite spot was the aft pool, with the thermal suite and the Crow's Nest close behind. Our first HAL cruise, but not our last. Hope your experience is as enjoyable as ours!

We are booked on an inside gty. Do you know if they have done the new upgrades to the inside rooms (beds, linens, tv, dvd.....?) Is there a 'fridge in the cabin?

There won`t be a fridge in the cabin, they are only in Veranda cabins and suites. If you need one for meds etc, you can rent one for $2 a day via your TA..........jean:cool:

We were on the Zaandam for 10 days last December and had a great time. Can not think of a "bad" to report. We were so busy that there were places that we didn't get to really take advantage of. There are lots of places to sit, read a book, have a cool drink, and watch the waves go by. Would love to do it again and check out the places, like the aft pool, where we didn't really spend any time. Have a great time.

Had a great time on her during the New Year's cruise! No complaints! New flat screens are very nice and so is the Explorations Cafe!

Was on this grande dame in December. She has received all her upgrades so the beds are delicious and the staff so very attentive. We enjoyed every bit of her. The spa experiences, the thermal suite as listed above, the Pinnacle were above my dreams.

You will have a wonderful time 3 days or 30 days being pampered and cared for is good for the soul.
