How to save when booking a Costa cruise

I'm booking my first 2 cruises, back to back, Costa Fascinosa followed by Costa Fortuna.

1. Compare all of the regional sites and book the cheapest one. Costacruises.eu was cheaper than both the UK and North American version for my cruises.

2. Lock in the price for a week, then only pay the €50 deposit per person, as the overall cost is the same regardless of whether you pay upfront or not.

Questions:

1. Does anybody know any promo codes that we can apply to a booking with Costa?

2. One of our cruises is already sold out of balcony cabins. What is the likelihood more will be released? Would we be easily able to pay for an upgrade if we initially book an inside or outside cabin?

3. If anyone has any experience with these ships, what area did you find had the best cabin? We are looking at an aft facing balcony on Costa Fortuna.

Have never seen any promo codes for Costa. Costa is one of the cheapest cruise lines anyway. You get loyalty points from cruise bookings flights booked through Costa and in board spending. This gives you discount s for future cruises so make sure you sign up for the loyalty  scheme which you can do as soon as booking made. It will save you some money in these cruises in terms of on board spending and then some off initial cruise cost for future bookings but points only last three years so so make them worthwhile you have to cruise with them at least once every three years

Question 2. Sometimes once all cabins allocated to travel agencies to sell ( but not sold) are released back to Costa then other cabins become available. And you can ring and enquire about upgrading . Thie new cabin will cost you whatever the cost of that grade of cabin was in the day you made your initial booking so no late savings to be made
