Carlea1961 Posted March 30 #1 Share Posted March 30 My sister and I are doing a cruise from Singapore to Hong Kong and one of our stops is in Halong Bay, we want to sign up for a 6 hour cruise tour of Halong Bay and various caves, the company though would like us to have a scan of our passports and email them. I am a bit nervous about doing this...has anyone else aware of such a process? Or am I being to paranoid?
John Bull Posted March 30 #2 Share Posted March 30 Yes, same for us from time to time in various corners of the world. No, you're not paranoid - just playing safe by asking. And no problem if you wait a while to get similar replies from others No worries JB 🙂
Rare Miaminice Posted April 6 #3 Share Posted April 6 @Carlea1961 Yes, some companies do that. Regardless, we just did the tour and we planned all our Vietnam tours with Rose, a young lady from Hanoi. Best tours ever - and we have done 30+ cruises worldwide, We enjoyed Vietnam so much that we booked a Mekong River cruise for September this year including Anchor Wat at the end. Here’s our report including contact info
