Ocean Terrace Restaurant

We are sailing on the Royal Princess in June (Voyage of the Glaciers, Vancouver to Whittier), and I am curious about the Ocean Terrace sushi restaurant. I know they don't take reservations, but would they be able to accommodate a larger group? The last night of our cruise is my daughter's 8th birthday, and she has requested sushi for dinner! But from the photos I've seen online, the dining area doesn't look very big. We are sailing with my whole extended family - a group of 10. I am also wondering about the menu - do they have California rolls and/or Dragon rolls? Those are my daughter's two favorites.

You could probably make arrangements, but it is mostly small tables. Not exactly the best format for a large group.

 

I would consider both the sushi and the selection to be mediocre at best compared to a land based restaurant. Not bad for a ship, but might not be up to her expectations.

Thank you, this is really helpful! I think it's best we do something else for the night of her birthday. It's also the final night of the cruise!
