US (RDU) - Toronto - Vancouver - Customs Quest...again, just 2 years later

I'm not an international flyer, so some grace, please.

We fly out of Raleigh early am to get to Toronto ~8am ish.

Flight to Vancouver leaves 10:15..ish.

 

1) Do we collect our bags here, for Customs check (and is it Customs ck, then bags ck)

2) is it Customs person ck only

3) no Customs ck until Vancouver

 

Am I making too much of this - I'm just not wanting to be concerned about making the next flight.

All on Air Canada.

 

The last topic I saw on this was a few years old... times change.

YYZ has a handy guide to all the steps - for an Air Canada flight from RDU, connecting to a YVR-bound flight, here you go!

 

Specific expectations for Immigration/Customs here (Kiosk info, Advance Declarations - your connection time should be enough, but I would recommend always doing all things in advance that you can to expedite your way through the steps in case your incoming flight is running late and your Enough Time becomes Worryingly Short)
