Can you book a Family Ocean View for two people?

If we cruise on Millenium in Europe, this would be our preference but there would be only two of us. We're just feeling the space would be worth the extra fee, if they let you book it for two.

Hi, Schplinky - We had a FV on Millennium for the Transatlantic last November. We booked the cabin directly with Celebrity and there was never an issue about booking it for only two. From other posts, my impression is that Celebrity enforces the "at least four or five passenger" rule only during school break periods: Christmas, Spring break, and summer. Don't know if it would apply for a summer cruise in the Med when fewer people would bring their children, but there's no harm in asking for it.

If you can snag one it is well worth the extra money, particularly for the "outer" FV cabins. We thought of it this way: it's more room and better laid out than a Sky Suite, for significantly less money. There's a ton of storage space in extra closets and cabinets. Having the separate living area and the huge, 270 degree-view balcony makes a big difference on an extended cruise. We had people over for drinks several times and they never had to sit on the bed as they do in a Sky Suite or a regular cabin.

What Brucemcdou said. We had 7199 on a transatlantic last April, and two people was no problem. This wouldn't be the case if you tried to book during a peak holiday season, as has been mentioned.

If I recall correctly, we paid a little under $200/PP more than a CC and it was unquestionably worth the extra cost for a two-week sailing. The only balconies that are larger on the entire ship belong to the PS right below you, and the view is every bit as good.
