OCMama Posted May 3 #1 Share Posted May 3 I have a 3 person cabin booked for July. Final payment and passenger names are due next week. Our 3rd person bailed, and we have a possible replacement. The replacement will not know for sure if they can come until June. Our cruise rate is about $500 for persons 1 and 2 and $30 for the 3rd, plus port fees and gratuities. If we decide to keep person 3 on our booking, what happens if she is a no show? Are we only out the deposit and $30 cruise fare? Alternatively, if we decide to cancel the 3rd, will Carnival allow us to select our room for 2 or will they assign it themselves?
Rare lazydayz Posted May 3 #2 Share Posted May 3 Likely just out the $30. That is a risk worth taking to keep your original room. Have the potential third person pay for herself. Then you are not out anything.

A No Show will not result in losing your assigned cabin, a cancelation could.
