MyVegas Reward and AMEX

Recommended Posts

Hoping someone here might have past experience similar to my question that can help resolve my queries.

I am hoping to maximize saving by using MyVegas Reward ($500 or $750 off cruise) and AMEX ($200 off $1000).

1) Can we stack both offers? I have never booked a casino offer, so not sure if those purchases qualify for AMEX credit offer or not

2) Are there any additional charges to pay for using $750 off cruise offer or any other things I should be aware of (to avoid surprises). I know about the name should match and one certificate per account/booking.

I haven't done MY Vegas for NCL yet, but have for RCL.

You should still be making a payment to NCL cruise lines, so then the AMEX offer should be no problem.

I had already paid my NCL cruise in full when this offer hit my AMEX-I pre payed my grats and bought OBC to get the the $1000

Yeah since I have never used MyVegas, I was not sure if remaining cruise charges showed up as NCL reservation to trigger the charge. Hoping someone can confirm

Since you have used MyVegas with RCL. Do they have extra fees when booking these offers

Just the same fees as direct with cruise line (taxes, port fees..etc) The RCL offer I did was 10% off. Booked direct with RCL then called and cruise was repriced. All  payments after the deposit (I did it on board) were made on RCL's website

What kind of Amex cards do you all have? I have been hoping to see the Ncl offer, but it hasn’t shown up for me yet. Only holland and Oceania.

I have AMEX Blue Cash Everyday

Be aware that the MyVEGAS $750 off is money of that one guests fare.   It is not off the whole cruise.   So if your cruise fare is $675 for instance you only get that amount off the cruise.   I had thought it would be taken off the total amount of cruise before taxes etc. I stacked mine with a cruise first offer.  Otherwise booking was very simple and no hidden surprises.

I second that, I also did that yesterday. Very smooth process. Only downside, I was not able to use my TA since I was told that MyVegas is added as primary TA and they will not get any commission.

I used 750$ for a cruise and it took $648 off. Solid saving I would say. I had another $100 coupon in my latitudes account, sad couldn’t use it.
