What hotels are used for cruises starting in Monte Carlo?

We have stayed in the Fairmont hotel which was quite pleasant and ideal for walks into old Monte Carlo and visiting the Japanese gardens. We had a great suite with the Casino right at the back of us. 
I don’t know how it will be now because they were reclaiming land just in front of the hotel but from the roof terrace there were great views overlooking the harbour and the ship when she came in.

We have also stayed at the Fairmont Monte Carlo, but several years ago. Loved the hotel, one of the best we've ever stayed in. Tire marks will still be fresh from the F1 Grand Prix that just ran. The famous hair pin turn is directly in front of the hotel.

I could be wrong, but I think Regent used the Four Seasons in Monte Carlo a number of years ago. 
We were very pleased with the Le Meridian before a cruise in 2018. 
You can also stay in Nice.

When our Splendor cruise ended there earlier this month they put most of us at the Riviera Marriott Hotel La Porte de Monaco.  I think it is technically just over the border in France so not super convenient to the Casino area but there is a free shuttle.  Very nice hotel and staff.  Good harbor view.

 

It was convenient for our taxi to Eze, which was magnificent!

Spend your money and stay at the Hermitage!

Hotel Columbus Monaco….avoid at all costs, it’s not got the facilities to cope with the numbers from Regent.

Another vote for Hermitage- old school grace and elegance. Great breakfast buffet,, too.
