Celebrity - Galapagos, Baltra to Quito

Looking to read some first hand experiences regarding the flight and process from Baltra Airport, back to Quito.

 

Specifically, was it orderly and would I be able to book a same day 5PM flight from Quito back to the US?

We have done this trip twice. Both times after we came back from The Galapagos we stated at the JWMarriott for at least two more days, and then caught our flight home. 
 

‘’Yes it was orderly. The airport has become very busy in the Galapagos, but we had no complaints.

Have done that flight in 2021 and 2022 and will be returning next month.  Yes, it is orderly.  Your departure from Baltra will be late morning and you will return via Guayaquil,  Ecuador.  Technically,  you could make a 5 pm but it would be tight.  I highly recommend flying home the next day and stay at the Wyndham hotel Quito airport.  Nice, safe and has a shuttle to the terminal.
