GOARMY Posted June 15 #4 Share Posted June 15 GMIAC: One other point: Do NOT rely on someone at the Reception Desk to give you accurate information on this aspect. Recent (February) cruise ending in Polynesia. Filled out the End of Cruise Disembarkation Form as to method of departing Mariner. We were Independent Travelers. Responsible for getting ourselves from ship to airport. Had significant OBCs (nonrefundable) to use up before departure. Had planned to use these for transfers. Reception advised we could NOT use OBCs because they could only be used while still on the ship. Went to Concierge. He quickly sorted this out. YES. Sat at his desk as he readjusted our Account to reflect same. Regent transfers are, shall I say, significantly pricey. So, it "pays" to double check this aspect out a few days prior to debarkation. CruisetheCs Posted June 15 #6 Share Posted June 15 Also, be aware that having Regent book a transfer may cost you much more than if you arrange it yourself. If you have unused and unwanted OBC, the cost differrence may not be of concern.
Hambagahle Posted June 21 #7 Share Posted June 21 If you get a Regent transfer then the transfer will show up. Pre-book a local one and the car will probably show up but with a flight to get to I would use Regent.
