Woke up around 6:00 and listened to the family snore. Decided to change into my spa togs and sit in the hot springs. I got smart and put a cold cloth around the back of my neck.

Craig and I have been enjoying these massage chairs that are on the way to the spa area. Craig looked into ordering one for our house. Just $15,000. 🤪

Afterward we went to the hotel breakfast which was included in our rate. So many different tastes to try. There was the usual fresh fruit, yogurt, toast available as well.

Forgot to mention that before my spa time this morning I drank a fermented milk drink provided by the hotel at certain hours. Tastes kinda like an Orange Julius👍😁

Tried to take the bus but the two that passed were packed. Grabbed a cab and it was only 300 yen more. Walked up to Yasaka Pagoda past tons of stores and restaurants. Very cute area!

We cabbed to the Tea Ceremony with Kimonos. We were quickly shuffled through the kimono process. The obi was really tight, like Scarlett O’Hara tight. They rapidly fixed our hair. It was obvious this wasn’t their first rodeo😁

We went upstairs with Craig and we were seated on tatami mats. Our charming instructor gave us a run down on tea ceremony jargon then demonstrated how to do the tea ceremony.
