Alaska 2026

When will Celebrity open their 2026 Alaska itineraries?  Which cruise lines do Alaska best?  We’re on NCL in the Mediterranean now and although the ports have been fabulous, the food and entertainment haven’t been as good as other cruises we’ve been on so we don’t want to use them again. We want to do a land and sea combo. We already have another Mediterranean cruise booked for next summer, so that’s why we’re looking at 2026.

They begin releasing new itineraries in November and it continues into December and sometimes the first of the year.

As someone who has sailed to Alaska on many of the cruise lines I can maybe help.  First off, decide your priorities ( itinerary, port times, glacier viewing, small vs large ship, dining, entertainment, price of course, etc). Each line has pluses and minuses and one size does not fit all.  Perhaps you can be more specific to your ideal Alaska vacation and we can collectively help?

Princess just released their 2026 Alaska itineraries.

We actually booked on the 25th. Our friends just booked today though since they had never sailed with Princess before.

When I visited the Future Cruise desk (on Apex, mid May) they mentioned that around November is when I could expect to see most of 2026 opened.

Sorry, I’m just seeing this. We booked a cruise tour on the Discovery Princess. Our TA recommended it.
