If you are going to be there for 4 days check out the following links for great info on Bermuda. We were there for 2 days on the Jewel last year and want to go back and see more sometime in the future.

We docked at the Dockyard in the Jewel because of its size and went to Hamilton for the first afternoon. Visit the old fort that sits on the hill over the harbor for great pictures of Hamilton and the harbor. The old fort at the Dockyard has lots of interesting sites and information. We didn't make it to Georgetown but if you are there for 4 days I suspect you will dock there.

Have a great next cruise.

We are a family of 4; 2 teenagers 13 and 17. We're pretty adventurous, but we want to have a relaxing time while we are in Bermuda. We've never been snorkeling, swimming with dolphins or any of that stuff..actually 2 members of the family have never seen the ocean! We are definantly looking forward to it!

we were in Bermuda last October and two things we really enjoyed were Helmet Diving and the Dolphin Dip. Of course we also spent some time at a few beaches and just doing some sight seeing. But those 2 excursions were a lot of fun. Have a great time on your cruise!:o

We have done the helmet diving and it was lots of fun. If you are into history there are a few forts to explore. We also have done a catamaran excursion to turtle bay. Wildcat around the island might appeal to the kids.

We'll be in Bermuda in mid-May, when the water temp. is about 70. Isn't that a bit cold for a helmet dive?

The company we used did provide wet suits for any one who wanted to use them. We have been to Bermuda many times in May and the water some ties is a bit cool but then again we are used to cool water on Cape Cod in August. I know if our pool here at home it less than 78 I think it's too cold but some how the ocean is differenet.

I guess it's up to Joan, who likes the water temp at 85. Thanks for the info. BTW, Joan is a Bay Stater as well--from Greenfield.
