Alternately, find a TA whose focus is more specifically upon the line in which you're interested, and they'll be more likely to know the nuances far better than other agents / agencies. And this doesn't mean just finding one of Celebrity's 'power brokers'. Sometimes it's just part of the agents within an agency. Yeah, I know - how do you do that? Some years ago, after a fair number of cruises with X of our own, I created a short list of 'interview' questions that, if answered correctly, put an agency on my short list before I made my final decision. Have been with them for Celebrity reservations ever since. Edited July 14 by canderson typoz

Another thing we hear on these boards from time to time is customers tell the TA they want a traditional balcony/CC/AQ on an E-class ship, and the TA seemingly unknowingly books them into an IV

Simply go to any host/ess desk and they will very easily assist you. Just be somewhat flexible and you will have no problem. Thank you, It was the Blue Chip Casino agent that told me that. When I went back to book the cruise, it was sold out for all casino bookings on that date.

There are 4 MDRs, you can go to any of them; some may have longer waits than others. Disclaimer, this is how it's been for the past couple of years, and currently, things can change but I doubt they would. It was previously a complicated process, mixing some with traditional and some with select/anytime. Most other cruise lines including X have two separate dining rooms if they offer both anytime and traditional Strange that Celebrity refuses to correct their app to align with how E class main dining actually works. As an alternative to anytime dining we simplify went to the hostess at Cosmopolitan and asked for a standard table for 6 PM nightly and she was able to accommodate that so we never had to wait to be seated, just went to the table and had the same waiter nightly. Tedferg Posted July 15 Author #30 Share Posted July 15 A little off topic from my OP. The nonrefundable deposit fee is a non-starter for me.
