Kensington-cruiser Posted July 15 #1 Share Posted July 15 We are booked on a Seabourn Alaska cruise in early July 2025 and will be going on a number of excursions by zodiac. We have seen lots of suggested packing lists for Alaska on line but would really welcome any advice on best clothing to wear for zodiac trips in Alaska, in July specifically - from people who have experienced these excursions. Thank you

Thank you The blue jacket/coat they give you is waterproof. It worked great in the Inian Islands (recommended), and it drizzled/rained on us most of the time, but we were cozy. RAIN PANTS! don't leave home without them. Those coats can be a bit warm in August. I brought a lite-weight waterproof jacket too. Having the choice was great - i used both. Layers, layers, layers! Have a great trip.
Mrs. Claypool Posted July 16 #3 Share Posted July 16 If your excursion will involve getting out of the zodiac and walking around, wear a pair of waterproof shoes in case of a wet landing.
