Plus package vs Premier package

It's hard to imagine one who spends less per day than one spends on a Plus Package.

It’s easy to imagine… Some cruisers with a lot of obc like to use that towards their gratuities. Those with Elite status get 50% off of an Internet package. Some people don’t drink coffee or soda. Some people are happy dining at the buffet and MDR. I don’t eat the Premium desserts due to an allergy to dairy products but some either don’t like the desserts or the calories. Lots of cruisers don’t use OceanNow and a lot don’t order Room Service. As far as alcohol goes, I went to LV last year for 4 days and on my flight home I remembered that I wanted to order a Rum and Coke.🤣

 

That said… I have Princess Plus for my b2b. I definitely won’t come out ahead, but I do like the convenience of not having to worry about a bill at the end if I decide or remember to order anything.

The number of people that fit into ALL of those categories would be very, very small.

They can't provide what SD was detailed in their write up.

Maybe next cruise after things have been in operation for a while.

 I find them a good bargain overall, but realize they are not for every single passenger. 

 

I think many don't add up what the cruise costs them at the end of the day but instead just look at the upfront cost of the package and not realize they are mostly going to spend more than that unless they stiff the staff and drink still tap water all day.

 

Then others make what are facially lame excuses as to why they are not buying a package instead of just ignoring the issue or stating it won't be good value for them.

I just booked 3 more SD’s on day 3 for later in the cruise none of them are sold out in the app but the early times are harder to get. If you are wi long to eat at 7:30 or later you can get reservations on board. Majestic 👑

I'm on the Majestic in November.  Already booked specialty dining every night.

My point others is that they do not book every table for every night or time slot. This is day 3 and we have booked Crown tonight at 7:30 and the Catch for day 8 at 7.40.
