When I went to get on the tender I was told it would be a minute. Then the crew member asked another if he could escort me to the other side. He was given permission and I was whisked to the forward gangway I guess because they were further along in the unload process.

 

I didn't really understand what was going on at the time and the directions to "stand inside" were confusing. I saw some others who appeared to be waiting and just followed them but got no instructions.

 

Looking back, it's simple, but a random escort through a crew area with no real explanation, I was confused in the moment.

 

We were the only ship in Grand Cayman today so no other ship pics just Freedom. 

 

Looks like a storm is coming.

Got off my shuttle and boarded the shuttle in the process of loading and rode back.

 

 

Not terribly exciting but good way to pass the afternoon with no other plans.

 Ok, there was ANOTHER nude child. This felt European as she was with her family and changing out of her swim trunks. Cultural difference I guess but quite unexpected to be walking by and that happen in the middle of the pool deck especially after yesterday.

Getting ready now for dinner at Giovanni's. I didn't quite finish talking about last night's dinner. Something in those espresso martini's made it hard to type long sentences 🥴

 

I was considering the pork chop when I sat down. It is one of my favorites when it is a good cut of meat. Sometimes it is too tough to enjoy. The table next to me was at the end of their meal and recommended it so I took the opportunity to ask them if it was tender tonight. They said it was so I took them at the word and ordered it.

 

The sucker was indeed very tender. Fork tender. Ok, I used the knife to hold it in place, but did not need to use it to cut into it. I did not know a pork chop could be that fall apart tender. I love the jerk seasoning they use on it. Be warned, this is a spicy dish that is actually spicy so if you are sensitive to heat, this is not something I would recommend. 

 

For dessert I got the brownie and I paired it with some vanilla ice cream. It was a little small and I was tempted to double dessert it again, but I hold tough and I am glad I did because by the time I finished and my stomach registered all the pork chop, I was uncomfortably full. The brownie was very good. Rich and moist and I don't think it even needed the ice cream, but I'm glad I had it anyway 😄

 

Another great meal and fantastic service. The food in here was a little rocky to start but I have been pleased as the week has gone on. It's been quite good overall.

Just to add to your (nude) comment. We went to 7 mile beach and there was an older lady who changed her swimsuit top on the beach for all to see.

Interesting. I understand that is normal in some cultures but would not expect that in the Caribbean. Outside of Orient Beach.

The meatball was fantastic again.

 

The Stromboli is my other favorite starter here. Very tasty. Meat and cheese wrapped up inside pockets of dough. Yummy. It was a lot of food.

 

By the time the chicken came, I was in trouble but soldiered on. The chicken was extremly juicy with a nice crunch from the breading and loads of ooey gooey delicious cheese on top. The pasta could have used a little more sauce, but I am a heavy sauce kind of guy and I am sure for most people it was more than enough.

 

For dessert I went with the chocolate ravioli. This is not the best dessert but I do enjoy it. Fried chocolate raviolis filled with melted chocolate, it really is hard to go wrong 😄

 

I enjoyed my meal although I can't seem to get the food portions right, I definitely over ate tonight.

I am in a bit of a food coma right now.

 

I hate to do it because I know I won't be going out tomorrow but I think tonight is going to be a chill night. I've wanted to take a night a just chill but by evening I have bounced back each night. After that meal I am not bouncing tonight. Maybe rolling.

 

I am going to stop in the casino after I digest for a few more minutes and see how she is treating me but if she gives me the cold shoulder I am going to retreat back into the room for the night.

When i looked up, there were a bank of 3 all empty. Within seconds two were taken so i moved over even though I was going to wait.

 

It was doing OK but I was going to move on because the vibe was off. Ton of people hovering to play. Making comments like I'm going to play as soon as someone leaves. Oh she was about to leave she changed her mind. I stuck it out anyway and hit the maxi. You kind of always expect to hit the mini so when the third maxi flipped it was a surprise.

 

Not much was happening and the vultures comments turned to i know these machines they aren't going to hit again. Finally I left. Despite their comments, they quickly sat down when I got up. 

 

Long, long way to go before I'm in the black but it's a nice hit. 

 

I told myself I wasn't going to look at the machine I left but I heard some cheering so I had to. She is sitting there cheering on her "granny" at the next machine with absolutely nothing loaded on the one she is sitting at. She probably saved me some money because it did stop hitting.
