Quebec City Airport YQB departure info please?

Hi Cruiser's. Does anyone have experience departing from YQB to the States? Is it efficient or do I really need to get the 2 hours prior for a mid afternoon flight? Trying to decide on post cruise excursion. Thanks in Advance!

It's a very small airport-- like maybe 10 gates total if that? You don't need a ton of time but I wouldn't cut it within an hour either-- it is still an international flight. They don't have US Preclearance in QC so you won't have to go through that process and will clear US Immigration at your point of entry.
