Picklesmini Posted August 29 #1 Share Posted August 29 Hi off on our first cruise on Sunday to Norway. I know the time difference is one hour on from UK. Does the ship go by UK time or Norwegien time? Many thanks

Rare Pushpit Posted August 29 #4 Share Posted August 29 There will be a note in the daily programme about this. If you have say a few days at sea before getting to Norway then they may leave it on BST for the first night or two and then CET from night 3. But by the time you dock in Norway it will definitely be CET and stay that way until the night (or so) before getting back to Southampton. But it's in the daily programme quite clearly. Just bear in mind that you will usually get the daily programme the evening before, with the turn-down service, so if you read about it that evening and it says "clocks go forward tonight", it actually means tomorrow evening. I think twice when it has only been for one port they haven’t bothered changing, when I have been aboard. Amazingly, everyone caught the ship. But for several ports in Norway, they certainly will.
