Softservekid1 Posted August 31 #1 Share Posted August 31 Getting close now. Closely monitoring the Gulf for storms. Looks like one this week and maybe one the following week. Fingers crossed we slip in somewhere. Checked in last night (early this morning) and got 11:00am check in. Staying in Texas City the night before, so a 30–45-minute drive to the parking garage, Been watching tons of YouTube videos about The Jubilee and where to go to dodge the crowds. Should be quite the adventure. Stay tuned😁

lostsoulcruiser Posted September 2 #10 Share Posted September 2 If you're leaving on the 7th, here is the 7 day tropical forecast. The yellow around Galveston is happening now and cruise ships are getting in and out without difficulties. With the caveat that it is still early and these paths do change, you should anticipate the orange area entering the Caribbean turning into a named storm due to water temperature above normal for this time of year. The peak hurricane day of the year is September 10. Looking at the map, you should be able to leave without problem but your itinerary may change. Welcome to cruising during hurricane season
