Day Pass at Resorts World Bimini

We just booked the 4 night Reflection cruise for 9/9.  We’d like to go to the beach at Resorts World. Does anyone know if there is any advantage to booking with Celebrity Shore Excursion or should we purchase when we arrive on Bimini.  The difference in price is approximately $30 for the two passes to purchase through Celebrity. Not a huge difference but if it is exactly the same experience no reason to buy on board. Also would appreciate any comments about the resort. Thanks for your insight!

I have no info either way on which way to book but I will say that I recommend you do extensive research on transportation to and from the resort. When we were at Bimini back in July, transportation via free shuttle was a Charlie Foxtrot. Upset cruisers who couldn’t get a timely shuttle ride back to the ship due to ‘Island time’ shuttle drivers (and a broken down shuttle) made for a very stressful beach day. If you are unable to walk back on your own in a pinch, I recommend you consider the beach area at the end of the pier as at least you know you will make the all aboard time.

We just got back from Bimini a couple days ago. We booked the ships excursion to resort world, taking the tram there was quick and easy both coming and going, so it was no problem at all. However, there was a long line to use the tram for the people that did not have the ship excursion.

This was my exact experience in March when I was there. I took the cruise excursion, it was on sale for a really good price. I rarely book excursions, but it was too good to pass up.
