We tend to drink a bottle at dinner. Only at lunch if off the ship in France or Spain lol.

We like to start with champagne, then a few glasses of wine with starters, then a bottle with mains. We're usually at dinner for awhile! 🙂

The sommelier’s have been leaving the red at the table even though I am the only one drinking it.  The waiters on the other hand will pour and take the bottles with them.

If I ask questions and show wine knowledge. Is it likely a sommelier will visit the table?

All need to do is ask your waiter or assistant waiter to speak to the sommelier.  On Seascape the sommelier is only in the restaurant during dinner.  We are fortunate on this sailing and last week to have two of them.
