4 Nights Pre-Cruise! What to do!?!?

Ok, let me leave this open ended question to all of you. First a little background. We will be leaving on the Caribbean Princess on Oct. 7th for our honeymoon! :) We have the week before off (getting married on Sept. 30th). Plan on going somewhere, ANYWHERE, in the continental US for Mon-Thur nights.

 

So here's the question, if you had one place to go for 4 nights, where would you go?! (try to stay away from the expensive flights. We live in Rochester, NY)

Since you will be leaving from Ft Lauderdale on your cruise, I would suggest getting to Florida a few days early and make the trip down to Key West. It has many B&B accomodations that would be great for honeymooners plus lots of things to do and see especially if you haven't been there before. Then you would just head up the highway to drop off your rental car and get on your cruise ship.

 

Check out this place as an option to stay. We stayed there last fall and had a great time.

I like that suggestion too. That time of year a rental car will be cheap, and most hotel rates should be very near their lowest levels as well. Consider a night or 2 in South Beach as well.

 

I heard Niagara Falls is nice. Ever been there? :)
