I am flying to Rome 30 days from today (11/2) for 5 days before my Prima TA. First time there. Taking the train Tuesday afternoon to Florence, spending all day there on Wednesday and then the train back to Rome on Wednesday night. Shuttle to Civi on Thursday morning to board the ship. Looking forward to your review. Enjoy your cruise!

I heard from our driver and he sent me a photo of where he will be meeting us at the airport. We will head to the airport today at 1PM. Cheers!

NOTE: To Epic Haven cruisers:

I noticed that the mailed luggage tags are too dark and you can’t read the cabin number, so I printed the tags out AND put both the printed tag and mailed tag inside the luggage tag holders. Hopefully this will help guide our luggage to our cabin. The printed tags clearly show the cabin number but DO NOT say priority on them.

Looking forward to hear about this trip. We are doing almost exact same June 2025 on Epic with 6 of us. 4 are new to NCL, we're also in the Haven. We did the same cruise as Sailing12Away on Epic out of Barcelona (lovedit!) Looking forward to hear plans for Santorini, Mykonos and Athens especially.

If you're up for a few questions, would love to hear from you.

In Santorini is there a ferry to Oia, once you get off tender? If, so how much per person?

Did you do the stairs up or down?

In the Haven, who is in charge of the restaurant? Can you find out how long they've been there?

How was B&B in Civitavecchia? Do they have 3 rooms for 6 people?

How were ransfers to port from airport?

I appreciate any info.

Made it to London early but the lines to go through security were long.Fast track was closed. Figures. Now at the gate.

In Rome. The airport lines for customs were bill. We walked right through. Our driver was waiting for us and now driving to our B&B. The lines to get cabs was loooong! Glad we had our reserved.

Our B&B is nice inside. Very clean. The surrounding area is cute and has lots of bars and restaurants.

Ok sorry to leave you hanging. We got back to our place around 8:30 and were planning to relax and call it an early night. Well we couldn’t get the front door to the apartment open. Our host and the neighbors were great. Apparently it was a bad key. We finally got in. All is well. The place is cute, clean with great hosts. More to come.

I won’t be able to answer the ferry question because we are doing an NCL excursion. In our B&B unit there are three bedrooms and two baths total. One bedroom with a full bath attached (that’s the one we have) and two bedrooms that share a bathroom. So far it’s been great. Other than the key issue but that’s been resolved. We are so close to the ship we can walk there tomorrow!
