bubbakins Posted Friday at 09:32 PM #1 Share Posted Friday at 09:32 PM Will be sailing on the MSC Seashore in February 2025. We generally do not drink alcohol, we drink water, coffee, tea, sparking water and an occasional soda. I have been searching and unclear if there are drinks available at the buffet and MDR for free on the Caribbean itineraries? If we buy the non alcohol drink package in advance it is 40 per day for both of us for 10 days. Just trying to figure out the cost of bottled water and beverages when not in the dining room/buffet and also what is available. I have seen reports that only water is available for free and other reports that there is lemonade and tea at the buffet? Also was considering whether it is best to save the 400 in advance and then have the option of purchasing specialty coffees etc at locations where the free coffee/tea isn’t served. Thanks for your help.
JT1962 Posted Friday at 09:49 PM #2 Share Posted Friday at 09:49 PM On past US cruises, there has been coffee, tea, milk, juices and water available for free at breakfast. Tea, lemonade & water were available at lunch / dinner. Unless you each will drink 5-6 specialty coffees, sodas, etc. per day, you would probably be better off paying as you go.
Rare JamieLogical Posted Saturday at 01:11 AM #3 Share Posted Saturday at 01:11 AM Regular coffee, hot tea (hot water with tea bags), lemonade, iced tea, and water are all available in the buffet. Most of those things would also be available (with other juice flavors at breakfast) in the MDR.
