What is the typical wait times for taxis?

Miami airport saturday afternoon? to hotel

Miami port Sunday morning to airport?

Not interested in uber/lyft.

At Miami airport, taxis are constantly pulling-up to the taxi stands outside the various baggage claims. At the port, there will usually be a line of taxis already there waiting to leave. So close to zero waiting in either case.

 

If you plan to use a credit card, verify with the driver that his credit card machine works before you get in his taxi. I think they're required but they like to pretend they don't work so you have to pay cash. Verify first.
