CARNIVAL LIBERTY CONTEST: GET YOUR BETS IN HERE!

Recommended Posts

I want to guess too! It will sail from Baltimore with intermediate stops in Charleston and Ft. Lauderdale before beginning a combined Eastern, Western and Southern route. Official port calls will be Key West, Cozumel, Turks & Caicos, Grenada, Aruba, St. Kitts, St. Barts, St. Maarten, St. Thomas and a FULL day call in San Juan. It will then swing up to Bermuda before repeating from Baltimore. Also, in between each port will be a sea day. Ahhh, to dream!

 Well I think she will sail from Jacksonville on 7 days cruises to Turks and Caicos, Casa de Campo and St Maartan. For the western caribbean I say Montego Bay GeorgeTown Cayman Island and Cozumel. I tried and maybe I am right. Hey in another message board of another website the day before the said Liberty to Europe I posted somethig saying 'I See Europe In Carnival Future. I had been checking some sites and noticed that not all ships were there. I thought maybe they are debating on where to send there ships. Well after they annouced Liberty In the Med most of the other ships now had there destinations
for 2005.

I think Carnival has something up their sleeves, so, here's my guess: I believe the Carnival Liberty will be based in PORT LIBERTY, NEW JERSEY and possibily alternative home ports with Philadelphia (which might even be a port of call)...you know home of the LIBERTY BELL.
I then believe the Liberty will take a southern route - perhaps year round (I hope, I hope, I hope)...so here's my route: Port Liberty, NJ; Nassua, Bahamas; Port Canaveral, FL; San Juan, PR; and back to Port Liberty. Ok, I might be out on limb with my guess but, it's something no one seems to have considered yet!

Joe_Antonelli I dont think anyone has said what you said because Cape Liberty is the port for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Carnival HAS to sail from NYC because they just signed a contract with nyc and NCL that if both cruise lines agree to sail from nyc till like 2017 then nyc will fix the port.

I want to play too. My guess is the Liberty out of Ft Lauderdale. She will do the eastern route with Turks & Caicos, St Thomas, and a stop in the Bahamas-Nassau. The alternating western route will do Montego Bay, Grand Caymen, and Cozumel/Cancun. She will have a few 10/11 dayers also to the southern Caribbean including St Thomas, Antigua, St Lucia, Curacao and Aruba. Doesn't that sound awesome! I hope she does do some longer southern voyages!
Happy Cruising,
Seeker

I already made my guess, but I reallllly hope that the new stop in Grand Turk is on the itinerary! Since it is located between the Bahamas and Puerto Rico, it could take the place of either one (not that I don't like those stops), but it would be great to have a new (and unsploiled) Island to visit!
My guess would be 11 night exotic Southern route, like RCI's Brilliance did, including Aruba. Let's hope!
Yes i think Carnival need a 10 - 12 day cruise hitting Aruba, St Thomas, St Martin and Barbados. 5 port days and 5 sea days or 6 port days and 6 sea days. For the longer cruises could also hit Nassua and Caymen (a little out of the way)

Okay..here we go. Maybe Carnival will look at the existing itinerary of the Jewel of the Seas. She alternates between 8 day and 6 day.

Here's my guess:

8 day - St Thomas, St Martin, Antigua, Turks & Caicos

6 day - Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios
