Topless decks?

True, but they also play up the "Fun Ship" thing and everyone has a different idea of fun, so maybe they provide areas for everyone. The casino may not be considered a "family" area by some people.

It gives everyone a choice and an option, and it gives them something to do with the small deck...LOL.

Not all families are comprised of children. ;)

But , you did have a very valid point, they do work that parent/children angle in thier promotions.

Plus most people immediately think of children when you mention the word family.

Hey I just thought of something odd...the top deck on the bow of the ship is the childrens area (camp carnival), and the top deck on the aft is the adult area (funnel deck).

what i mean is that it seams out of character for Carnivals marketing image. They kind of play up the family aspect.

HUH? Just because they market to families doesn't mean there shouldn't be a few areas for adults only. There are those of us who would love for the cruise lines to be adults only.

flame proof suit....check....

kevlar undies......check....

Yep... now I got to figure out how to sneak that high power lense upthere with out being caught??

No where in my speedo to hide it..

;)

Careful. We wouldn't want this to turn into another "juvenile" discussion.

Actually I believe the top-optional area was designed to accommodate those passengers that aren't restricted by the conservativeness we see in the states and believe that being in the sun sans a top is quite natural.

What you meant to say is that it's for the folks that don't walk around with a corn cobb stuffed up you know where.
