Location of Craft Market

We went to Coz last year and could not find the Craft Market that a few have spoken of. We're going back next week and I'm wondering if someone can give me good directions to it.

I've been told it's behind the Plaza where the flagpole was. If I am standing with my back to the ocean and facing the plaza which direction is the market?

The market is behind the buildings in front of you...access from calle 1. Go to your right and then make left...There are many booths with silver, leather, embroidered items etc.

We discovered the craft market on our third visit to Cozumel and have returned to it on each Cozumel stop since. Very nice place to shop away from the crowded main street shops. Have purchased several items there during our past visits.

How many blocks back is the crafts market from the main drag??

Okay...stand in front of the clock tower inthe plaza with your back to the water...walk to your right to Calle1 ...make a left( bank on corner, Casa Denis on your right 2 storefronts in on Calle 1) )...walk in a bit and look to your left...there will be the Artisan market.

But realize...the name is misleading. There are no crafts in the sense of handmade stuff. The stores have t-shirts, silver and the regular stuff.
