Kimbo99 Posted March 31, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2006 Do most of the ladies where long dresses? Is it appropriate to wear one that comes down to your knees? Thanks Kim
Sandy Sails Posted March 31, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2006 You can wear a LONG dress, a SHORT dress, a fancy pantsuit, fancy pants and fancy top - really anything that's shiny can pass as formalwear. I prefer not to stress too much about it. Only reason I go is because the menu is usually better that night.

CruisingAlong4Now Posted March 31, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2006 You might want to post this question on the ship's forum so that people you have sailed the same ship would be able to comment. I've been on ships where pretty much all the women wore formal (floor length) gowns and other ships that were less formal and women wore everything short of jeans on the formal night. caribbean dreams Posted April 3, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 3, 2006 I see the about 70% wearing long dresses, about 25% short cocktail dresses and 5% wearing, well, i'm not quite sure what you would call it.

Ledyz Posted April 3, 2006 #8 Share Posted April 3, 2006 Traditionally long dresses were worn on formal night. However, more women are wearing dresses that fall at the knees or mid-calf. So, find a dress you love and have a GREAT cruise!!
