St Petersburg - Booking Shore Excursions from the UK

Recommended Posts

Any UK-based Cruisers out there booked Red October or Denrus for their Shore Excursions in St Petersburg? We are on a P&O Baltic Cruise in July and have 2 full days in Port. We are looking for a cheaper but reliable alternative to P&O's offerings.

Would really welcome any advice or previous experiences.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hello Andrew

We are on Rotterdam July 28 from Harwich. What days are you in

St. Petes? We are also looking at booking either Denrus or Red

October but will be doing so through the USA offices/contacts. Will be

watching this thread with interest.

(We were on Summit last April/May, you may recall and did the

Skywalk tour with Mauricio)

We are on the Jewel of the Seas out of Harwich in June.I just booked our two days in SPb with Alla who has been very well recommended on these boards. I have found her to be very helpful. Check her out.

Also recommend Olga Pobol, at Denrus. I chose Alla but Olga was also very helpful You will not go wrong with any of these guides.

Hi Cliff,

How great to hear from you :). Of course we remember the Mauricio Tour - how could we possibly forget - it was a fantastic day and one of the highlights of a really super cruise. Hope you & Diana are keeping well. Good to see that you are on the countdown to your next cruise.

It looks like we will be 'ships that pass in the night'. Tony & I leave Southampton on 16th July & return there on 30th July. We are in St Petersburg on 23rd & 24th. We will be in Kristiansand on the 28th and at sea on 29th. Are you at sea on 29th as well? If so, we may even pass in daylight!

Warmest regards to you both,

Andrew (& Tony).

Many thanks for the information mcca2. I have had a look at Alla's website. Looks like there is quite a lot of research to be done before booking as there is quite a lot of choice. Hope you have a fantastic cruise.

We leave Harwich July 28th. - 29th. is a sea day - arrive Oslo on July 30th.

Will just have to wave to each other somewhere in the North Sea.

You will have left when we arrive in London on the 23rd.
