And five cruise ships that had smokey casinos. I think they're all that way.
arabrab Posted April 5, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2006 Last week -- very smokey, and you could really smell it even without going into the casino.

Bob333 Posted April 5, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2006 I am sorry to agree with everyone, but they're all smokey. I've been on 7 Princess, 1 Carnival, and 1 NCL. You come out with red eyes, starving for air, and smelling like smokey the bear. It's very odd, I don't notice smoke anywhere else, except the casino. We're not big gamblers anyway, but we don't go in because of it. I wonder if the cruise lines have done studies to determine who spends more in the casino's; the smokers who dominate, or the non-smokers that won't go in because they don't want to smell like an ashtray. I think they're losing out on allot of money, but what do I know......
LeeW Posted April 5, 2006 #7 Share Posted April 5, 2006 Go during the day when no one is in there. Otherwise ranks about a 9 on a 1 to 10 generic casino scale. Of course it is much cheaper to stay away! Tighter than an indian casino.
gopher's girl Posted April 5, 2006 #8 Share Posted April 5, 2006 Very smoky! My casino pet peeve: when I am playing roulette and someone sits down and starts smoking at the table. That will clear the whole table out! I understand that this is one of the few indoor places to smoke, so ok, fine. But for some reason roulette is a tough table to be at when there is a smoker sitting there. Other table games never seem so bad. Not sure why that is. JLC@SD Posted April 5, 2006 #9 Share Posted April 5, 2006 The Casino is a good place to lose money while you develop second hand smoke lung problems....;)
