ghisl Posted April 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2006 We sail away at 5 PM so how much scenery will we get to see as we're sailing out of Vancouver? Could someone please tell me where approximately we will be once daylight comes the next morning? That whole area seems so beautiful - it's such a shame that it will be dark for most of it. dderm Posted April 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2006 Thanks for asking this question - I've been wondering the same thing. DH and I are also on the Volendam Sept 6. - we were beginning to think we were alone on the ship even though we've been told it's nearly sold out! Budget Queen Posted April 10, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2006 Your scenery will be until dusk upon leaving Vancouver, and start up at dawn again the next morning, but you will be outside Vancouver Island early morning. Key is to be out on deck on your return, last sailing day, hook up with the ship naturalist- if orcas were seen the week before?? time of Seymour Narrows?? Again wonderful scenery until dusk.
