Is the Tampa port terminal air-conditioned?

Hi all!

We will be arriving from NH on the morning of our cruise (I know it’s risky but we had no choice). NH is still chilly this time of year and will be flying out very early in the AM so we will all be wearing jeans and sweatshirts. We will have our shorts/t-shirts in our carry-on bags but we didn’t want to change our clothes at the airport. How hot is it inside the port terminal. Does it have AC?

I would where your tee under your sweatshirt. It can get hot in the plain or cab:)

Thanks, that's what I thought.

I just know I have read horror stories of people waitng in hot for terminals for hours because of delays. We just want to be comfortable

We spent more than 3 hours there last Sunday waiting for our flight home. I was dressed for weather in Chicago (long pants, T-shirt, and track jacket) and was comfortable.

Just re-read and realized you are going through Tampa - I was in Port Canaveral - Sorry!

It was fine. There was AC but it wasn't up too cold either. I'm sure you'll be fine in your jeans.

Cheryl, we have always been fine in long pants but usually stuff the sweatshirts (t-shirts under) in our carry-ons while we wait for our luggage. Never know if you're gonna freeze on roast on the plane anyway.

 

We are also from Nashua and will be flying down that weekend, but going out of Port Canaveral.

When I was boarding Celebrity's Horizon, I wasn't in the building long enough to notice. Took less than ten minutes to checkin and board.

Architects might forget and leave out unimportant details like BATHROOMS but NEVER, NEVER will they forget to put A/C in a building anywhere down south. :)
