NorCalCruiseGuy Posted April 24, 2006 #28 Share Posted April 24, 2006 I faxed in a request to Investor Relations last Tuesday and hadn't heard back as of this morning for a sailing this Friday. I phoned this morning and was told the credit has been applied for the upcoming sailing. The woman was very helpful and confirmed it quickly. Maggie 3 Posted April 24, 2006 #29 Share Posted April 24, 2006 Hi, My TA called and was told I had the credit. When I called Celebrity to ask about the bus ride into Mexico to get the ship I also asked and was told I have the credit.
ArtM Posted April 25, 2006 #30 Share Posted April 25, 2006 Is the discount available for stock held in one's IRA account? Or does the stock have to be held in a "regular" account? Art
tserface Posted April 25, 2006 #31 Share Posted April 25, 2006 Is the discount available for stock held in one's IRA account? Or does the stock have to be held in a "regular" account?Art You just have to demonstrate that you own it. It can be in any account that you own so I'd guess an IRA would be fine so long as you can demonstrate that there are 100 shares as part of the portfolio. My shares are in my IRA, and I've gotten the credit on six cruises since I bought it.
NorCalCruiseGuy Posted April 26, 2006 #33 Share Posted April 26, 2006 I recently purchased 100 shares. With the 2 cruises we'll be takingt his year, that means a total of $450 shipboard credit. Not a bad "yield".
