hotel rec for daily pass

i am sailing on the Crown Princess Aug 25th and we will be in san juan pretty much a full day (from 12 to 10pm, i think). none of the excursions the cruise line is offering look to appealing for us. we would like to do a more of a beach type of excursion since i have a 3 yr old. i know i have read in other ports people have found hotels that let them book for a daily rate and they get to use the facilities while in port. i was wondering if anyone has done this in new san juan and if they could recommend a hotel to us and let us know how you went about booking it? i would like to find somewhere we could kind of hang out for the day. thanks so much.

I'll be in San Juan on 6/24/06 and would like to know are there are any hotels that offer a one day recreation pass? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
