Miracle Aft balcony

Wow, what are the odds! You will actually be right next to my sister, her husband and their 23 month old. They are great people, and will be fun neighbors. Baby Ian does have some rough nights sometimes, but hopefully he will do ok on the boat.

 

I guess being next door to a fussy baby is better than being next door to rowdy drunks, right? :)

 

If you happen to catch my brother in law out on the balcony be careful, he will talk your ear off! (in a good way though, he is a super nice guy)

We had one of those wrap around balconies on the Miracle in January of 2006. I remember waking up every morning to get a fresh breath of air, only to greet the smell of cigarette butts littering the deck, put there from idiots throwing their butts off the end of the ship. That was the first and only time I have taken an aft balcony cabin.

Since then, they had a fire on another ship, caused by a thrown cigarette butt from above. It was on a port side balcony, but it still haunts me. Supposedly they changed smoking rules after that, but you can't fix stupid.
