Traveling to Quebec

Hello All,

 

Thinking of going on a cruise starting in Quebec. I have some questions and would appreciate some help.

 

1. Looks like you need to fly into Montreal. Is this correct? What is the best way to get from the airport to the ship?

 

2. If we wanted to rent a car and drive up to quebec, what is the best, least expensive way?

Hi,

 

It would be easier to fly right into Quebec City - if you are flying in from LAX you would change in Newark(continental), Northwest flies from Detroit to Quebec City and Air Canada - LAX change in Toronto.

If you flew in to Montreal you would have to get a one way car rental and that can be expensive.

 

Just try Expedia, Travelocity or one of the other sites and they show the flights to Quebec City.

No it's not ! Quebec city have an international airport ! So ask your TA to plan a trip direct to Quebec (depending on the airline, you will probably have to do a transfer in Detroit, Atlanta, Toronto or Montreal).

 

What is the best way to get from the airport to the ship?

From the Quebec city airport... take a taxi ! ;)

Don't rent a car... You won't need it if you fly to Quebec instead of Montreal...

You can fly directly to Quebec City, it's probably the easiest way.

If you fly to Montreal, the train or bus would be an option too.
