INCHARGE Posted April 15, 2006 #26 Share Posted April 15, 2006 I guess I am the only weird one here, but there are people like me who do not like to ride backwards! On planes, I can not ride with my back to the cockpit. Nor will I ride backwards on any mode of transportation, if at all possible. It makes me lightheaded. I will stand up rather than sit backwards on a subway train. That being said, I am always concerned if the bed faces the stern,(front) and it always has. :D However, on my next cruise, the bed is facing the window, Oh MY! SIDE SADDLE. Whoa.. baby! :D :)

VentureMan_2000 Posted April 15, 2006 #29 Share Posted April 15, 2006 don't do it. Floor isn't all that comfortable. You'll be sore and bruised the next day, and then grumpy and it'll just ruin the whole deal. First hand experience...? :D

I would think the gentle rocking of the ship would be more noticeable... But after a couple libations...:D

BallFour4 Posted April 15, 2006 #32 Share Posted April 15, 2006 I always sleep with my head towards the stern and my wife sleeps with her's towards the bow.:D Ya know, if you take a ***** and your wife falls asleep first you can always use it as a kickstand to keep you from rolling during rough seas... Just a thought.
