Half Moon Cay & Grand Turk-Cash Needed?

On Half Moon Cay were you able to use your sign and sail card on the island, since it is a private island? Or is that only for HAL cruisers? Also, was the included BBQ lunch available for Carnival cruisers?

 

For those back from Grand Turk, was the Margaritaville accepting Sail & Sign or just cash? What about major credit cards? Also, what were the average prices on entrees and drinks if anyone can remember.

HMC is a private island owned by the Carnival Corp. and your S&S card works.

GT is a real world island and they take/want real money.

There was a great BBQ (burgers, dogs, jerked chix, fresh fruits, salads, etc...) buffet at HMC when I was there a couple weeks back on the Sensation (last sailing before the itinerary swap w/ Fascination).

Take $$ to HMC also- there are some nice little shops there.

At least on HAL you can use the ship's card everywhere but the post office. The people in the "straw market" prefer cash as it's easier for them but they can fill out a form to put it on your shipboard account.
